Wayne Greenfield – 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm.

Wayne and his magical guitar perform mostly Country Western and 50’s Rock and Roll. Wayne started playing guitar at the age of 12. He took lessons from Allan Mann in Ft Morgan, and later from George Smith. Wayne played on KFTM radio in Fort Morgan with his teacher at age 15. Through the years, Wayne has played with many country groups in Denver, Central City and at the Trail Dust. He formed his “One Man Band” about 10 years ago. Wayne says his favorite place to play is the Pioneer Arts and Music Festival.
 


 



 

Luke-Ham-Sandwich Family Band  12:00 to 1:30

          The mission of the Luke-Ham-Sandwich Family Band is to bring glory and honor to the Lord while providing fun-filled entertainment.  They have won or placed in several Bluegrass competitions including KSMU Youth in Bluegrass, Battle of the Bluegrass Bands, and the Bluegrass Band Competition at Fiddler’s Feast in Tennessee. Since their conception in 2003, they have performed over 400 concerts in the United States and Mexico.  Their first CD “What Can I Give Him” was released in August of 2005.  The second CD “Smile” features many original songs and was released in 2006.  This families’ name, Lukasiewicz (Luke-a-savage), sounds a lot like Luke Ham Sandwich, which is how the name of the band was created.  When asked “What makes your band different than anyone else?” their response was, “We may be of different colors, but we are of the same heart.”



 


 

Wild Blue– 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Wild Blue is a Denver based Blues/Rock band playing classic rock music from the sixties through today. Featuring the music of the Rolling Stones, Animals, Mood Blues, Tom Petty and Eric Clapton songs. The band leader Coca, lives in Keenesburg and has his own business ARC Air, which provides commercial Air compressor sales and service.

Kids and Me – 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm

          The “Kids n Me Choir” got their name as there are only kids and Mrs. Jeannie Anderson.  Mrs. Anderson is a widow and currently has 14 children still living at home from ages 6 to 17.  Most of the children were from orphanages in China, Africa, Mexico, Romania, and Russia.  A few were adopted from the USA.  Mrs. Anderson has many adopted children who are grown and out on their own.  The Anderson family lives on the Preston Ranch in Roggen, which is owned by the Korthuis.  They have been here 3 ½ years.  Mrs. Anderson and her children Like to serve the Lord and to give back to the community who has been so supportive to them.  Thus they formed a singing group and love to sing for churches, nursing homes and events.



ROCKY MOUNTAIN BRASSWORKS – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

          The Rocky Mountain Brassworks band consists of approximately 35 to 40 players who perform on brass and percussion instruments.  The repertoire is very flexible, consisting of original works, orchestral transcriptions, marches, Broadway show tunes, hymn tunes and novelty numbers.  The band became known as Rocky Mountain Brassworks in 1978.  Since 1991 the band has performed at the Colorado Music Educators convention in Colorado Springs, at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, for the Lord Mayor of London and Princess Ann at a British Faire held in Denver, and World Youth Day opening Mass with Pope John Paul.  RMBW has also been invited to play for the American School Band Directors Association National Convention in Boulder, the opening of Interstate 76, the installation of Archbishop Chaput at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, the opening ceremonies for the International P.E.O. Sisterhood convention, and the National Anthem for the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball club.  Joe Aspey of Farm and Home Lumber in Hudson is a member of this band. Eric Olson from Pennsylvania: Uilleann pipes, whistles, mandolin and guitar.
James Messerich from Upstate New York - Plays percussion, harmony vocals. Some more awesome musicians include.

Mark Brissenden from Back East - Plays fiddle, bouzouki, tenor banjo and sings harmony vocals.
